{Straight talk for clients.}
IN THIS ISSUE: Get an inside look at our 12 month plans for Agility.
Let’s start a new tradition. And let’s be honest: it’s long overdue.
So many of you engage with us on a regular basis: entertaining our requests for phone calls, usability study participation, survey responses, client conference attendance, hosting us on-site…the list goes on. Thank you! We feel like we know you and where you’re headed, but we likely haven’t reciprocated in giving you that insight into Agility. We’ve fallen short on keeping you close to our future hopes and dreams.
We’ll address that in this edition of the Flash by giving you a look at our 12 month plans for Agility (and plan to check-in annually).
First things first, your ideas, as well as your needs, matter a great deal. Our primary goal is to get you where you need to be, while ensuring we’re keeping an eye on where the markets we serve are headed. In all planning, we attempt to keep a healthy balance of the following:
- deadline driven regulatory needs for all markets
- market and regulatory driven best practice
- technology maintenance
- opportunities to advance the capabilities of the product
- enhancements to existing functionality that serve the majority
- partner needs
It’s always been about the good of the whole. Your ideas don’t go unnoticed; we do our best to prioritize the enhancements that will be most beneficial to the majority of the Agility community, while also addressing the “non-negotiables.”
Some years, our efforts have been more heavily shifted to meeting non-negotiable regulatory needs (I’m looking at you, 2015!). Other years we’re able to focus on the more exciting content.* This year, we wanted to focus on system efficiencies and overall usability improvements – those things that allow Agility to make your day-to-day easier.
There’s a saying about best-laid plans… Even though there may be unforeseen changes, we think it’s important you know how we’re trying to improve your day-to-day with us.

*Our apologies to our Compliance Team, who fundamentally disagrees that compliance is not exciting.
Did you know?
Curious about how we evaluate your requests? The Agility Change Control Board consists of a cross-functional team who both regularly interact with our users. This group has members who are heavily involved with the markets we serve, as well as the broader healthcare industry. We meet every other week to review client, internal, and/or partner submitted enhancement requests. Discussion about each predominantly focuses on the problem being addressed and the value the enhancement can bring to the majority of our Agility community. Approved requests are then prioritized against our 12-month plan.
Have some ideas? Work with our Client Services team to get your request to the Change Control Board. Make sure you tell us about the problem you want to resolve and the impact the enhancement would have on you, as well as your colleagues in the Employee Health, Occupational Medicine, and/or Urgent Care field.
And the winner is….
Thanks for your input on our first quarter Product Satisfaction Survey.
Each quarter, we ask you to complete a brief survey sharing feedback on Agility. Those who complete the survey are entered into a drawing, in the first quarter, for a Fitbit Blaze and Aria Smartscale, or a donation to a charitable organization of the winner’s choice. The winner is Stephanie C. Congratulations! Thanks for your thoughtful feedback!
Please continue to give your feedback in our second quarter survey which will close May 23rd. We’ll announce the winner of the iPad Air 2 in our next Flash!
There’s always more to learn.
