Net Health CIO Honored with 2021 HMG Strategy Global Leadership Award
Net Health CIO Jason James was recently honored with the inaugural 2021 HMG Strategy Global Leadership Award. The prestigious award recognizes those who have reimagined and reinvented themselves to place their organizations on the fast track to groundbreaking transformation in dynamic times.
“I am honored to be recognized by the HMG Strategy Global Leadership team. Being able to quickly adapt and innovate in today’s fast-paced world is critical to finding success,” said Jason upon receiving the award.
Jason was also named a Pittsburgh CIO of the Year by the Pittsburgh Tech Council in 2020, and in the same year was a finalist for the Constellation Research SuperNova Award, honoring leaders who engage business transformation.
“That Net Health was able to grow to new heights in the midst of a global pandemic is a testament to the resourcefulness and tenacity Jason brings to the company and his team,” noted Josh Pickus, CEO of Net Health. “His executive leadership plays a pivotal role in Net Health’s success. There’s no one more deserving of this award, and it’s great to see his peers recognizing that during such a dynamic year.”
About the 2021 HMG Strategy Global Leadership Award
Nominated by fellow technology leaders across industries, recipients of the 2021 HMG Strategy Global Leadership Award include officers at major companies such as Chobani, The Boston Red Sox, Allstate, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, and Toyota.
According to HMG, premier technology executives are expected to come armed with fresh ideas for leveraging technology to deliver new waves of business value and drive future growth for their companies.
In 2020, that expectation was put to the test as Net Health sought aggressive growth with several business acquisitions, while also contending with the technology demands of a company transforming to all-remote work in the wake of COVID-19. But that didn’t deter the IT team, who oversaw the integration of robust software systems and IT infrastructure and implemented new operational and communication platforms — all while ensuring business continuity remotely from locales across the country.
Jason James, Net Health’s Chief Information Officer, oversees the technological delivery of the company’s SaaS products that enable healthcare providers to support millions of patients each year. He leads the development and ongoing transformation of Net Health’s total IT framework that includes applications, infrastructure, security/compliance, support and operations. Jason has 20+ years of experience modernizing IT organizations to ensure the highest level of performance in Cloud and SaaS services. Jason is a frequently published IT thought leader, in-demand podcast guest and industry speaker.
