October 2016
Dear ReDoc,
I want to maximize my time with patients so any way I can streamline my process is a win, especially when it comes to creating home exercise programs (HEPs) for patients. Manually scanning exercises one by one, printing them out, then documenting them in ReDoc is cumbersome, and there’s no easy way to customize the number of reps or instructions. Is there a faster and simpler way for me to create exercise plans that could lead to better results for my patients?
The Scenario
Currently, you might create HEPs for your patients by scanning various exercises, printing them out, then writing in any adjustments or special recommendations. Your patients only receive a physical copy with an image to describe the exercise. Patients might forget how exactly to do the exercises and replicate them incorrectly or even worse, misplace the printed copy of their HEP.
The Solution
Integrating Exercise Pro Live directly into ReDoc makes it easy to create custom HEPs, select the best, most applicable exercises, and even create protocols based on certain treatment types. Print a copy of the instructions or email them to patients including a video link showing the proper form and instructions for the exercises. Patients can then access their HEP from their phone, tablet, computer—whatever’s most convenient. Exercise Pro Live features a comprehensive list of over 3,000 exercises for all body parts with accompanying videos that you can search by body area, exercise type, body position, movement and exercise device. You can also upload and add in your own exercises, even creating your own videos if you’d like.
All exercise plans you create for a patient will be automatically saved to ReDoc with no extra steps.
Improve Home Exercise Compliance
You’ll have the option to include color photos or line art drawing and to include a video for each exercise. By providing clients with videos showing proper technique and/or color photos, patients can more easily and accurately replicate the exercises you’ve assigned.
Access Anywhere, Anytime
Because Exercise Pro Live is web-based, you’re able to access from anywhere you have internet and even from multiple computers at once. You’ll also receive upgrades with expanded content at no cost as the update will be applied automatically. Your patients also benefit from the ability to access their HEP from their smart phone, tablet, or home computer.
Create Custom Programs
Do you typically assign the same exercises for ACL or rotator cuff tears? Save time by creating protocols or templates you can come back to as a starting point and then fully customize based on the patient.

Did you know?
2017 ICD-10-CM codes took effect October 1st—not using updated codes could result in rejected claims from local carriers. While hosted clients received the latest ICD-10-CM updates automatically, non-hosted clients received this email to install the script updates. If you have not yet, share this link with your local IT staff to complete the update as soon as possible.

Thanks for your input on our latest Product Satisfaction Survey.
Each quarter, we ask you to complete a brief survey sharing feedback on ReDoc. Those who complete the survey are entered into a drawing, this time for an Apple Watch, Sport edition or a donation to a charitable organization of the winner’s choice. And this quarter’s winner is Justin H. Congratulations! Thanks for your thoughtful feedback.
Keep your eye out for next quarter’s survey coming this November.
