Dr. Juan Michelle Martin, PT, DPT | Owner of JMM Health Solutions

Dr. Juan Michelle Martin is a licensed physical therapist of 13 years, with an extensive background in patient care and as a competitive athlete.

She has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedic practices and hospital settings, seeing  a variety of clients from competitive athletes to kids, to pregnant/ postpartum women and more. This experience fueled her desire to focus exclusively on the pelvic floor as she realized that there was a huge gap in care and individuals often suffered when they didn't have to because there was unaware that there were solutions.

She formed JMM Health Solutions with a focus on pelvic floor dysfunction in adults and children and provides services not only in her Duluth location but also in-home and virtual/ online sessions.
Dr. Martin is also a speaker, mentor and consultant but when not working, enjoys being with her family, travel and coaching volleyball. 


Jamie McCulloh-Martin, PT, MBA | Owner & Chief Marketing Officer at Strive Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation 

Jamie Martin joined STRIVE Physical Therapy as a partner in 2010. She has a wealth of clinical and business experience in out-patient rehabilitation. Jamie graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with her Physical Therapy degree. She is the former owner of Physical Therapy and Sport Services (PTSS), a 21 location rehabilitation business best known in New Jersey and Pennsylvania for excellence in customer service and clinical outcomes. Jamie has specialized training and experience in the McKenzie approach to the spine, and has combined that approach with aggressive exercise resulting in a long history of successful patient outcomes.


Dr. Lisa VanHoose, PT, MPH, PhD | Owner and Executive Director of the Ujima Institute & Associate Professor and Director of Physical Therapy Program at University of Louisiana Monroe

Dr. Lisa VanHoose is an Associate Professor and Program Director in the Physical Therapy Department at the University of Louisiana Monroe. Dr. VanHoose received her PhD in Rehabilitation Science and MPH from the University of Kansas Medical Center. She completed fellowships at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging and the National Institute of Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute PRIDE Summer Institute with an emphasis in Cardiovascular Genetic Epidemiology. Her Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Master of Science in Physical Therapy were completed at the University of Central Arkansas. She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Oncologic Physical Therapy and has practiced in the field since 1996. As a NIH, PCORI, and industry-funded researcher, Dr. VanHoose investigates socioecological models of cancer-related side effects with an emphasis on minority and rural cancer survivorship. Dr. VanHoose served as the 2012-2016 President of the American Physical Therapy Association Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy. She has been an advocate for movement of all persons, including the elimination of social policies and practices that are barriers to movement-friendly environments. Dr. VanHoose serves on the Governor Edwards COVID-19 Health Equity Taskforce in Louisiana and the Louisiana Racial and Health Equity Learning Laboratory. She is the owner and Executive Director of the Ujima Institute.
