Winchester, Virginia, based Valley Health is implementing Net Health’s Agility Software for their occupational medicine (OM) EHR needs at urgent care locations in Virginia and West Virginia.
Valley Health is replacing an existing EHR with Agility Software because it’s able to drive the dual functionality required for urgent care centers that also provide occupational medicine services, a growing trend in the space.
Jacob Meza, Corporate Director of Urgent Care and Occupational Health at Valley Health says, “We’re excited to have an electronic medical record for occupational health, this will allow for a standardization of care and protocols among providers at all clinics. The software also offers an employer portal that allows our customers to access reports and billing information electronically—so information is available on demand.”
As a regional health care provider, Valley Health is a broadly functioning network. In addition to the blended urgent care and occupational medicine clinics where Agility Software is being implemented, services include six regional hospitals throughout Virginiaand West Virginia, regional home health, home medical equipment, and medical transport services.
Patrick Colletti, Net Health’s President, adds, “Valley Health’s growing business has complex and specialized workflow needs. They are a perfect fit for the advanced tools in Agility Software. The one-size-fits-all EHR solutions in today’s market fail to address the specialized needs of outpatient care settings. It is our sweet spot as an organization to provide solutions that best drive specialized medical workflow and operations.”
