{Straight talk for clients}
Missed our most recent client conference? Feel like you were there with the recap below!
May 2017
What do coffee beans, team cooking challenges, and WoundExpert have in common? The WoundExpert SAWC Spring Client Conference, of course! At each Symposium on Advanced Wound Care, we not only love to see our clients during booth hours but always look forward to connecting at our exclusive WoundExpert client events.
This year in San Diego, we hosted the inaugural ‘Iron Chef Challenge’ where our attendees broke into small groups for a dessert cook-off with a mystery ingredient (check out pictures here).
Before the competition began, our WoundExpert Experts passed on product specific and industry knowledge in intimately sized groups, perfect for questions and interactive discussions.
If you missed it, read on for a recap of the information shared.

The Difference
WoundExpert is the strongest solution for wound clinics because it’s perfectly fitted to a wound care workflow. This station was aimed at drawing awareness to features in WoundExpert that wound care professionals can’t live without, like a comprehensive reporting suite to monitor patient and wound outcome and auto-generated marketing letters to help drive future business. Have a facility that is pushing towards moving from WoundExpert to a larger, non-specialized EMR? Here’s a document you can use as a tool to defend keeping WoundExpert.
Navigating MIPS & MACRA
Industry leader and Net Health Chief Clinical Officer, Cathy Thomas Hess, shared her wisdom and answered questions on navigating MIPS and MACRA. Click here for a Flash explaining the Quality Payment Program or visit the ‘Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA)’ topic in the WoundExpert How-To Documentation to learn more. If you’d like extra help navigating MIPS learn more about our Net Health 360 Professional Services offerings here.
For those who missed this opportunity to attend, keep an eye on your email next year for information about our client conference at SAWC Spring 2018.

Connections Corner
WoundExpert wants to save you time. One way we do this is through the Net Health Connections Program, which makes ordering supplies for clinical care fast, easy, and accurate by replacing paper order forms and fax machines with electronic connections to a facility’s preferred vendors.
Here are the latest, free updates to our Connections modules:
Check out the new Cell & Tissue Based Products (CTP) Module!
This module enables clinics to submit Insurance Verification forms for industry leading CTP products, providing more confidence that the patient will qualify for a procedure. If your facility does not have this module enabled or you would like more information on how to use it, contact Customer Support via feedback@nethealth.com.

Did you know?
Each month this section features a favorite quick tip from a team member.
Save time by using a workflow perfectly fitted to either a new patient or a returning patient. Your Facility Administrator can enable this feature in the WoundExpert workflow admin, which will automatically display workflows based on whether it is the patient’s first visit in an admission period or a subsequent visit.
Please contact WoundExpert Client Services at feedback@nethealth.com if you have any questions.
