With using AI and Redoc AI for two to three months now, it just makes your life easier. We don’t get a lot of things that make your life easier. So when something comes along that’s going to make your life easier, that’s going to be a win for everybody. I was really surprised when Net Health and Redoc announced that they were going to do AI documentation. I just hadn’t heard it in the therapy setting. To my surprise and joy, when Jamie brought the opportunity to us, I was immediately on board. I knew it was going be a game changer. The support team at RedocNet Health have been fabulous through this process, but they’ve really been fabulous for fourteen years. We at the Orthopedic Institute really never have an issue. And if we do, it’s resolved quickly. They’re going to the extra length to make sure when they roll this out, it’s gonna be ready. They’re leaving no stone unturned to make it as good as possible. So I believe they’re gonna continue to tirelessly work to basically put a perfect product out in terms of AI in the future.

Therapists don’t go to school to document. That’s just not what we wake up in the morning to do. The number one benefit that I’ve seen with using AI is that it definitely reduces your time spent documenting and you have much more time with the patient. I can see their facial expressions versus having my head down the computer. I can talk with them freely. The conversation flows way better because I’m not having to slow them down to take breaks so I can catch up or I can shift between computer pages. So I think our retention is going to be higher using this. I think our patient satisfaction is going to be higher using RedocAI. I think our results are quite frankly going to be better. We’re going to have more time to spend with a patient. I believe RedocAI and AI in general now is doing what the EHR was supposed to do fifteen years ago.

This is one of the first times I’ve seen something in my twenty five years where it’s clear it makes a therapist more efficient. I noticed the efficiency of AI the first time I used it. I think therapists have a kind of an internal clock when they’re doing an evaluation. I know when an hour is up without looking at the clock because I do certain things. The first time I used AI did all of those things and I was completely done with the treatment and it was forty five minutes. It’s easy to figure out how that’s done. I just, I don’t have to walk back and forth to the computer to enter a range of motion measurement in. All of that adds up to that ten to fifteen minutes of savings. I have extra time that’s not spent in documentation. I’m gonna be able to put that into patient care. And every minute or minutes that I can put toward patient care, I can then bill. So we’ve seen fifteen minutes per evaluation. If we cross that over for the day, we’re talking three to six units extra of billable time per therapist, you can figure is going to be a strong return on investment over the month or year.
