PointClickCare Marketplace- Integration FAQs

What clients need to know about the changes to the Optima Integration with PointClickCare.

Beginning May 1, 2026, Net Health will commence billing all currently enabled PointClickCare (“PCC”) integrated sites at an initial rate of $18.50 per site per month.

  • This introductory rate applies to all active integrated sites
  • As your sites migrate to the PCC Marketplace API, you will be asked to indicate whether each site will opt in or opt out of Therapy Tab data sharing within PCC (see additional details below)..
  • Ongoing monthly fees will be adjusted based on this data-sharing selection.

PCC will bill Net Health directly for all integration fees, and starting May 1, 2026, we’ll pass those fees straight through to you based on your agreement with Net Health.

PCC is transitioning Net Health to their Marketplace APIs as part of a platform modernization initiative. Net Health is updating the current integration to use the PCC Marketplace APIs. This updated integration improves performance, security, reliability, and scalability, and streamlines how information is exchanged between Net Health Optima and PCC.

No. When data sharing is enabled, Net Health Optima will begin sending therapy data to the PCC EHR from that point forward- historical therapy data will not be transferred. To access historical therapy information, users can log into Net Health Optima directly. For reference, the current Therapy Tab in  the PCC EHR displays only the most recent 5 days of data.  Historical therapy documents are currently also accessible within the PCC EHR through PCC’s Integrated Documentation feature; however, PCC has indicated this functionality will be going away. Net Health Optima will remain the system of record for all historical therapy information.

Net Health will begin migrating existing clients to the Marketplace-based integration in June 2026. All new PCCimplementations going forward will automatically be configured using the Marketplace integration.

PCC’s pricing depends on whether the site or organization participates in Therapy Tab data sharing with PCC.

$18.50 per month – Sites opting in to Therapy Tab data sharing (see further details below)
$40.00 per month – Sites opting out of Therapy Tab data sharing (see further details below)

Just to be clear, Net Health won’t be adding any extra charges — we’re simply passing along the exact amount of PCC’scharges as a result of the transition to PCC’s Marketplace,  based on their per-site fee and how many integrations you have. Your invoices will show the number of site integrations enabled, along with the matching fees.

The new pricing for PCC integrations will go into effect on May 1, 2026. At that time, the initial rate of $18.50 will apply to all active integrated sites.

As your sites begin migration to the PCC Marketplace API, you will be asked to choose whether you want to opt in or opt out of Data Sharing within PCC. Your pricing will then adjust based on the option you select for Data Sharing during that transition.

Yes. Fees will apply to all EHRs that are integrated with PCC.

If your site is currently enabled with a PCC integration, our team will proactively reach out with detailed step-by-step instructions to migrate your existing functionality to the PCC Marketplace. We’ll guide you through each step of the process to ensure your sites are successfully updated with the new functionality.

Data Sharing

With the transition to the PCC Marketplace API, Net Health will be sending the following data to the PCC EHR for each resident and discipline:
• Therapy Tracks
• Therapy encounter details

This information will then reside in PCC’s EHR moving forward.

As part of this process, clients will be required to review and sign a data sharing election form, electing their data sharing preference.  Completing this form will be required in order to complete your migration.

Current functionality: The therapy tab displayed in PCC’s EHR is a screen developed by Net Health and launched from within PCC’s EHR. The data displayed does not reside in PCC’s EHR.  PCC is deprecating this functionality as part of their platform modernization initiative.

New functionality:
Opting In to Data Sharing: PCC has developed a Therapy Tab within the PCC EHR. Net Health’s Optima EHR will send therapy information to populate this tab, and this data will reside in PCC’s EHR.

Opting Out of Data Sharing: Therapy data will not be sent to or stored in PCC’s EHR.  PCC users will not have visibility into therapy information within their workflow, which may impact clinical coordination, reporting, and other user experience functions within PCC’s EHR that rely on therapy data.  Therapy information will remain accessible by logging into Net Health Optima.  Clients should carefully consider these workflow implications when making their data sharing selection.

For questions about how PCC handles or uses this data beyond what Net health sends- including any  third-party use- clients should refer to their (or their site’s) existing agreements with PCC.

All sites will be billed at $18.50 starting May 1st. The rate will only change to $40.00 at the time a site completes its migration to the PCC Marketplace API and the opt-out election is confirmed.

If Net Health does not receive a completed data sharing election form prior to a site’s migration, the site will default to opting out and will be billed at $40.00 per site per month. Net Health will make multiple attempts to collect the form prior to migration completion.

PCC charges a Marketplace subscription fee to all third-party software vendors integrated with PCC.  Any vendor listed in the PCC Marketplace is subject to the same process. We are not aware of the specific rates charged to other vendors.

Net Health will require a new data sharing election form from the new organization to confirm their opt-in or opt-out preference and ensure billing is set up correctly.

Yes. If you have questions that require PCC’s direct input, please reach out to your Net Health account team and we will coordinate a joint call with PCC to address your questions.

A new report is available for you to run that identifies which sites are currently enabled with a PCC integration.

This report is available to users with the System Administrator role and can be used to confirm enabled sites and compare the results against your net Health invoice, helping ensure accuracy and alignment.

Please ensure this report is added to the appropriate Security Roles so the right users have access to the report.

Data Storage

Yes. Regardless of your data sharing election, Net Health Optima remains the system of record for all therapy data. Historical therapy data- meaning data prior to your site’s migration data- will not be transferred to PCC and will only be accessible by logging into Net Health Optima. Clients should ensure they maintain appropriate data storage in Optima to meet retention requirements.

Yes. Once a site migrates and opts in, therapy data will reside in both Net Health Optima and the PCC EHR going forward.  Net Health Optima will continue to be the system of record.

Contract therapy providers should be aware that if you leave a facility, your access to therapy data stored in the PCC EHR will no longer be available.  In the event of an audit, denial, or ADR, you would need to access that documentation through Net Health Optima. For this reason, maintaining data storage in Net Health Optima is particularly important for contract therapy providers.
