Despite a challenging few months, which most recently involved a worldwide outage that impacted many of you, I would like to share some positive news involving our Occupational Health solutions.

To start, Release 11.16 of the Net Health Occupational Health application is scheduled to be released in early September. This comes after having been substantially delayed due to required security updates that were made by DrFirst, our technology partner for Electronic Prescriptions for Controlled Substances (EPCS). These changes forced us to change out a critical component required for two-factor authentication and the signing of Controlled Substance Prescriptions.

Release 11.16 will include many requested and planned updates, including:

  • Electronic signatures on employer lab report
  • Electronic signatures persisting on visit orders
  • Claim numbers added to incidents list
  • New option to print claim number on charting notes
  • “Patient Account Inquiry” button added to visit entry
  • Correction to evaluation and management (E&M) patient type default for incident follow-up visits
  • Employee and manager portal multi-factor authentication and security updates
  • Employer portal notifications when employee information is updated

Finally, initial research and development has also begun to replace the need for Adobe Acrobat to support Interactive Forms within the application. This work will continue through the second half of the year with the goal of having a solution by year-end.

I appreciate and value your partnership as we continue to work on these challenging initiatives. I will be back in the next newsletter to share more about where we are and the exciting enhancements coming in 2025!

Best,

Todd Wilkins

President, Net Health Occupational Health
