St. Elizabeth Hospital
Wayne Winistorfer, MPA, OTR, is the Director of Rehab Services for St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI. Wayne explains why ReDoc® is really well accepted by his therapists, and why many wouldn't do without ReDoc if they had to.
My name is Wayne Winistorfer. I'm an Occupational Therapist, but my job is Director of Rehab Services for St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI. And about two years ago we became full partners of Ascension Health, which is the largest Catholic health care system in the country. It's in 23 states.
After five years we know that ReDoc is really well-accepted by our therapists. Many wouldn't do without ReDoc if they had to. And we also know that we have reduced waste, and have some return on investment that was just really not anticipated. We certainly didn't promise the level in return on investment that we're realizing.
Our experience in implementing ReDoc being able to have, to know that therapists built the tool. Therapists from ReDoc came on site and sat next to our therapists to help them in the transition. And really to develop some long-term relationships with our therapists.
We have such a level of confidence in ReDoc as a company, and as a tool. I would, and I do recommend ReDoc. Because it really does exactly what it's supposed to for Outpatient OT (Occupational Therapy), PT (Physical Therapy), and Speech (SLP). ReDoc does things that other systems don't.
And for any place that's still on paper that wants to transition ReDoc, because of who developed it, how it's develop, how its continued to evolve, is a tool that therapists get. It's designed in a way that therapists think. It's designed in a way that therapist learn to clinically reason. And it just works the way therapists work.
